Good news and bad news. I’ve been battling hamstring issues for a while now and I’m pretty close to pulling the plug on my pole vault season. The good news is if I’m not competing anymore then I could make TJ fest

Didn't realize you vaulted. I jumped through college and coached D1 for 15 years. Miss it... Awesome you're still jumping.Good news and bad news. No shit! What school did you coach at? I co-own a vault club with my dad out here in Arizona. I’ve jumped 18’6” myself. So close to that Olympic level I just can’t keep my hamstring healthy.Didn't realize you vaulted. I jumped through college and coached D1 for 15 years. Miss it... Awesome you're still jumping.
That’s awesome! I went to and coached at the University of New Hampshire. I had more success coaching than competing... Mind was willing, the body not so much. But I had athletes make it to regionals & NCAAs and was able to make it out to the Summit in Reno one year. I get my competitiveness out ski racing these days... Unlike vaulting, a little extra mass helps there! No shit! What school did you coach at? I co-own a vault club with my dad out here in Arizona. I’ve jumped 18’6” myself. That’s awesome I jump at the summit every year. I’m in same boat right now. My hamstring just won’t hold up but I know I could jump higher. It’s really frustrating. Here’s me over my PR 18’6 in Mexico City last March if anyone wants to see me pole vaultThat’s awesome! I went to and coached at the University of New Hampshire. If I go to TJ fest I would likely drive up the 23rd and wheel the 24th, 25th, and 26th, and leave the 27th to get home for work. Anyone else getting there the 23rd and wheeling the 24th? @rasband i heard you are getting there early
There are teams?Yeah, team CO is planning to get in late Friday (23) and wheel Moab 24/25/26 leaving the 26th after wheeling to camp somewhere on the way back home. I'm thinking about trying to get in earlier on the 23rd to hit a trail in the afternoon if anyone is up (I'd like to do Moab Rim or Poison Spider if time allows).
Seeing what trails you do, I think you'd find a good time joining us![]()

They are called teams because group of fucktards who own Jeeps was taken.I don't know why they're called that, but someone included them in their posts of their schedules. Team America, Team LJs, and team holy f'in hyphen that I am aware of.
Are you going to make it out Lou?
There are idiots who have formed “teams”.There are teams?
Yeah, it’s terrible people made plans of trails they want to run to get organized. The worst! There are idiots who have formed “teams”.
