What did you do to your TJ today?

Ok, I have to ask because I don't know. Why so many pictures from smartphone users that include the whole smartphone screen instead of just the picture? I'm not trying to bust your chops or anything - despite my dislike of smartphones - but I see this all the time and don't understand...
Haha you’re good! I actually cropped the photo after, I think for me it’s just easy to go to a website and take a screenshot! Here is a cropped version! 😂

@Zorba it is far better without all the other stuff I agree

To my wife’s dismay I found my unicorn half doors today for $350View attachment 244254
They look to be in really great shape from all the pictures. If they aren’t I don’t have to purchase or they will discount. I almost didn’t get them, but I keep walking away from decent doors.
Now to shop for paint 😂 I have a 2006 bright metallic silver, I’m 99% sure the interior is agate, but can anyone validate? Also where to get agate colored interior paint?

This is what I’m going to use on interior 1/2 door panels. Best price can find is from manufacturers website. I would share how it looks but has been setting on self since like Oct waiting.

You are patient! I get a project and it’s all systems go until it’s complete!
I really like that 4x4 logo
ha I’m not sure if you are serious or joking, but I know about 674 people that can make you one 😂😂. You get your sye and driveshaft done and buttoned up?

All buttoned up and driving. I even took it on a 45 minute drive each way to swap doors.

Ordered Mopar OEM parts for my '01 Sport 4.0L while they are still available; (2) 2946079 Crankcase vent grommets, (1) 53030495 Crankcase Vent, (1) 53030497 Engine Crankcase Vent Valve and (1) Belt Tensioner 4854089AB.
Received these parts over the past couple days; not sure about the grommets, but the other three parts had Canada cast into the parts. (y)

Well, so far I'm impressed with Summit. My entire suspension parts order that I placed earlier today has already been shipped (free). In two boxes! One box contains exactly one (1), count it, upper front control arm - the other box contains everything else including the other upper front control arm! At least they're not like "Cheaper Than Dirt!" and charge an arm and a leg for shipping from different warehouses!

Way different from Amazon's free shipping which can result in things sitting around for several days or even a week before they actually go out the door. With that said, one of the 4 items I ordered from Amazon this AM actually did ship out today.

I vacuumed the new twill trektop, then pulled the TJ out into the sun and treated the top with Bestop twill protectant. After it sat in the sun all day to cure, I pulled it back into the garage and waxed the hood. My next project will be to put on the new bumper and winch.

That is the nicest way of saying get your lazy ass in gear I’ve seen. In defense t-case, rear driveshaft, bumpers, gas tank skid, and MorRyde have gone on during that time. Of course ARB twin, winch, and couple other accessories are on to do list also. My younger brother currently does all work while I’m overseas and getting new rear axle for his Chevelle installed has taken priority.

Also ordered a 2" X 2.5" in-cab winch control setup from 12v guy. Goddess only knows when it will actually get here, but its on order.

I tried to contact 12vGuy a few ways but didn’t get response so went with Custom 3D Fab for my switch panel. Of course it is now on the aforementioned to do list but looks good on the parts pile 😉

Ha, not what I intended at all. Life is busy and things take priority over our Jeeps! But the lists never stop growing, I wonder if anyone is truly “Done” 🤣

Had my Savvy sliders delivered yesterday!! These things are pure beef!!! I knew they would be stout, but damn they are impressive!!! I’ll be getting around to installing them soon, but today I’m heading to my buddys house to start installing his Savvy 3” lift....
