Just ordered front Bedrug (carpet) and hope I’m not disappointed when it arrives. Bedrug in Tennessee has a 4-5 week back order but I found it on Amazon.
My present carpet is in excellent condition but I wanted something different.

I am very familiar with their truck bed liners as I have one that’s 20 years old in the Lightning, which has never had more than a set of wheels/slicks in it. Just not sure I’ll like it as interior material. Guess I’ll find out Thursday.

I have it in both my Jeep and the bed of my truck. The only complaint in the Jeep it has almost no heat insulating qualities. I would highly recommend some heat insulation be installed on the transmission tunnel. The Bedrug itself looks great and is more than easy to clean.

Prepared the interior for the new Bedrug that is to arrive Thursday. Was a lot cleaner than I expected under the original carpet. Hell, I even found.$36 under it. Carpet is still in great shape too.
Couldn’t locate any heat shield locally this morning, then realized I have a 9”x 30’ roll of Andek fire guard so I will use it to insulate. Put a small piece on to see how it sticks cause it’s about 15 years old. Works great.

36 dollars? or cents?

I will be following this one. I cleaned the heck out of my oem carpets twice and no matter what they were still dirty and dusty..No doubt a lack of maintenance from previous owners. One more thing I didn't like was it always slid around a bit when I got in. I added some velcro but I never could get it to feel " firm".

I’ll be interested on your thoughts, bed rug looks great and from what I have read on the forum most like it. It’s in my list down the road, I can vacuum my carpet for hours and barely see improvement. Drives me insane!

I go and hire a Carpet/furniture cleaner annually. Works a treat on upholstery and carpet, you'l be amazed at the crap that comes out of everything.

If your happy with your oem carpet, why not remove it and pressure wash it. That will give you an opportunity to clean the tub floor under it too.

I considered that but I cant imagine it being reasonably priced and hate to spend a few hundred to clean old carpet

I pressure washed and washed mine with a garden hose and it still wouldn't come as clean as I wanted..i tend to be a clean freak and a nit picker so I'm sure most people wouldn't notice/care/mind

Bet I would. I’m so fr’kn overboard on cleanliness that it sometimes bothers me.
Get yourself a few cans of this and a medium bristle scrub brush and you can clean almost anything. Spray, scrub, wipe with an old towel and you will be amazed.

My Bedrug came with heat shield.

Mine is too, so perhaps I mis spoke. I am referring to the aluminum backed self sticking polymer material that deadens sound and also acts as an additional heat repellent. You can see a small piece on the tunnel in one of my pics.
