Any experiences with the Undercover Fabworks skid plate?

I also talked to the UCF guy before ordering and was told I would be fine without the lopro mount.

Ordered the engine skid with the transfer case skid. Kind of weird getting delivery with no box or anything. Just the 2 skids bolted together with a shipping sticker on the engine skid. At first I was concerned but then thought if it couldn't handle being shipped like that then I don't want it under my jeep.

I was a little shocked also when my skid arrived no box and just a label, did not think UPS would do that. Only downside is that I did not get to put the first scratches in it.

haha my GF thought someone just left a bunch of junk on our steps because the shipping label was face down. Then she asked if it was ok. In her defense, she didn't know it was coming. I prefer to ask for forgiveness on certain things 🤣

I have the same setup on order,do you have any side shot, and how long did it take from start to finish, thanks again-jeff
Side shots as in.. like "eye level" with the skid?
I already had a Rokmen high clearance skid so start to finish for me was about 30-ish minutes. Do you mean how long did my whole tuck process take originally?

Floor denting usually only comes into play when you have a 241 case. It is substantially larger than the 231.
I had to do some not so gentle massaging to the tub to get the Atlas 4 speed up as high as I wanted it. Totally worth the effort though. And with carpet and seats installed you can’t see the area anyway.

It took me longer to drill the four holes in the tc skid for the engine skid than it did to install the entire tc skid. I was in dire need of a face shield to keep it from raining 6061 in my eyes.

It was about 30-60 minutes to install the tc skid. I do still need to adjust my pinion angles and tc shifter though.

Side shot,of whole Jeep,I can’t wait to get the shovel off.planning on getting rid of the cat

Am I correct in thinking this set up does not have a transfer case support separate from the skid itself? IE: if I pull the skid, I'd need to support the T-case?
That's correct.

EDIT: I wanted to add that this takes all of an extra 30 seconds to place a jack stand under the bellhousing of the transmission.

Closest I have at the moment (I'm at work and can't send images). I can take a lower when I'm home, if I remember lol.

I also had to drill holes. I think if you order both skids from them directly they will come with the holes but I went through hired guns offroad since they were cheaper (I don't see them listed now). Drilling sucked but it went faster when I started using a floor jack as a drill press. The engine skid took a lot longer than the transfer case skid, at least for me. Getting the brackets bolted onto the engine mounts on the frame sucks.

I ordered the "deep cover" system and they did not come pre-drilled :(

Same. It makes sense though cause you never know how it will line up. I used a 2x4 and floor jack to get the engine skid flush with the tc skid and then had to use a dead blow to get it into position so the drain plug was centered.
That's good info. I haven't installed my engine skid quite yet because I wanted to paint all the steal parts, then had to do a little grinding on one of the arms, then re-paint, etc.
