So I own a 2019 Ford Raptor and like every vehicle I’ve ever owned, I joined the forum. I have been somewhat unimpressed by the truck since I purchased it. The biggest issue being the abysmal payload of 1000lbs. I highly underestimated how low that actually is for a supercrew cab. 4 grown men weigh 800lbs alone. Add a cooler and your truck squats like a drunk chick that’s been at the bars all night. I’ve also noticed that the guys on the Raptor forum come completely unglued when you say anything negative about the truck. From time to time I get bored and go trash the truck over there. Am I the asshole? Lol, I know I am, I just don’t care.

Well most folks don't buy a Raptor to haul weight, so this situation is somewhat puzzling.
A standard F-150 can carry a lot more and save $25 large .

This is kinda like buying a LaFerrari and then being disappointed that it can't tow a 32' Airstream trailer.
Of course you could always go on Ferrari Forums to share your insights. :ROFLMAO:

Jesus Christ, am I on the Raptor forum? I didn’t buy it to haul weight!!! But what I got was a fucking Fiat! Sorry, 1000lbs isn’t hauling fuck all! Especially in a supercrew.

You say that now. Get on the truck camper section on RV.net and start shit talking the Lance camper for the crap that they are and you'll find out how the poor salmon feel trying to get home.
If it’s anything like the Raptor forum…I hope you’re enjoying yourself because I simply post on there to get those blowhards panties in a twist.

No I didn't really enjoy and that rabid defense of Lance regardless of any and all proof to the contrary was the main reason I just quit going there. Fucking fanatical they are. Even when you point out that Lance uses the same shit parts that all the other companies use, the cabinetry is picture paper over particle board, and their assembly line crew is as low skilled as it gets, makes no difference. Fuck'em.

I don’t know if you’re looking to get a truck with better capacity, but you could be getting out of it right now close to what you have into it! This market is crazy.

But anyone that can’t see the downsides of what they run will never learn or improve. Their loss.

You’re a better man than I am. I just can’t stop poking the bee hive. These guys are so pretentious that they preach I “don’t understand the “SUPERTRUCK”. They literally call it a SUPERTRUCK?!?? It’s amazing! I own the damn truck and its an awesome vehicle but you can’t use it as a truck! Looks amazing, drives like a fucking sports car but YOU CANT DO TRUCK STUFF with it!! That’s a problem bro?!?

Some forums are just like that. You are talking about a expensive niche truck and they stroke each other’s egos to justify the high purchase price.

But you knew it had a 1000 pound payload when you bought it. Right? If not, that was a poor purchase based on research before dropping $75k on a truck. 😂

Wait...a Raptor can only tow 1000 lbs? That's a joke, right? 🤷‍♂️

I mean I understand it's supposed to be a desert runner, but 1000 lbs? I would have expected as much as a midsize truck I guess. Those things typically tow around 6000-7000 lbs. I think.

Still, 1000 lbs. for payload seems low.
It is , that's why Ford builds the SUPER Raptor dually , tandem axle version. 40" of wheel travel , 40,000 lb payload , ( That's 4 grown men AND about 261 Coolers weighing 150 lbs. 12,500 H.P. and gets around 38 mpg.
But it is only available for sale in certain states.;)
