Haha, I just watched this scene and I enjoyed the photography, the first shot through the fence is really cool! So I'm happy to know my pic reminds this to you. Fun fact, the lens I used was built the same year this movie was released.

A story about conservation, when discovered it was bright blue like the flower. But over time due to trash (coins, cans, sticks, etc.) the thermals changed cooling the pool allowing the bacteria to grow changing it to how it appears now.

So, awhile back I had posted about a catalytic converter issue with my LJ. Well the old girl started marking her territory like an old British which meant a new rear main seal was needed. Also meant dropping the exhaust system. Think I found the converter issue.

Passed 2 wind turbine blades on I84 outside of Boise on the way to move my daughter into her dorm today. You don't realize how big they are from afar; had to be close to 100' long.

It was quite challenging to take this pic with my old 5lbs 600mm manual focus lens but I think it solves the mistery.

I see these raptors gliding around in circles almost everyday. While we do have some hawks and eagles in the alps, even a few golden eagles, they live higher in the mountains and they're rare.
A few days ago, while I was in my garden , I saw an unfamiliar black and white little bird staring at me 20ft away, it didn't seem shy so I was thinking "is it worth going inside to grab my camera?" Then suddenly, a buzzard coming from nowhere caught the bird which finally managed to escape minus a few feathers. It was impressive to witness this so close!
I downloaded a nice bird app last year when we were skiing. You download database based on your location. Then give it some basic info on the bird you see. It then gives you a list of possible matches with photo and audio (calls).

I did a solo trip last year at timberline, and I had a pair that were working me whenever my kitchen box came out. One would distract me while the other tried to grab stuff.
