Wiring factory Rubicon air lockers

You don't need or want the original switch, two are better. The Rubicon switch is momentary so it wouldn't work. Those pumps should work with the info on this thread.
No need for any of the Rubicon wiring. Wire each compressor like you would a small 12 volt bulb, use nothing larger than a 5 amp fuse for each.

Two simple on-off switches are all you need, this is where I placed mine.

Awesome thanks for the info, looks like I got some minor things to buy

You would likely get ill if you saw the 🏆 winning interior of my TJ. Grand Champion in the Absolutely Disgusting category. 😱
I don't get ill when I see a seasoned Jeep. However, my OCD won't let mine get that way. 🤪

I bought the pumps new from summitracing. I read in a different forum that the Click I hear is the pressure release valve. They said the compressors runs on pink and black and has to be wired to the differential so that it can send a signal back to the compressor to close the pressure release valve(red wire)
For anyone referencing this thread, do NOT wire in the pink wire to power. I bricked one of my compressors this way! Use red for power, black for ground, and tape off the pink and green - they go unused.

Yep!

The factory wiring harness for the pumps is strange. There are four wires on each pump but only three exit the loom near the factory connector. The connector only has two pins.

Resurrecting a old thread, but looking for any new info on wiring those switches so the factory locker lights in the Instrument Cluster come on when the lockers are engaged.

I cant remember exactly how I wired it but all dash lights work as they should in my setup. I only accessed wiring behind the factory switch to do it. Factory switch also works as it did from the factory but my other two switches will work under any circumstances.

Do you still have the factory switches and do the lights work?

The factory lights are activated by a sensor, so they still kinda function even when you change how the compressors are powered. Mine just continually blinks if the lockers are engaged. Factory design is for them to blink while engaging, then glow solid when fully engaged.

My LJ is a not a Rubi so I dont have the original switches. I was able to find a diagram that I guy had put (4) diodes inline in the connectors at the Instrument Clusters but am confused why he chose the ones he chose. This is the thread I found discussing the wiring https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/instrument-cluster-locker-light-question.21204/ and here is the picture that has me confused.

Here is the Instrument Cluster Connectors Pin Out. My thought is to tap into the Connector C1 at Pin 9 and Connector C2 at Pin 14. These are labeled Locker Enabled instead of locker request on the original posters setup. I think this might get rid of the blinking light issue. Any thoughts?

If it's not a Rubi, then how do you have flashing locker lights?

The original poster that created the 4 diode system did it to stop the blinking lights. My thought is it can be done with 2 wires. All 03-06 LJ's have the lights in the Instrument Cluster not just Rubi's.
