Best M/T tires for a rock crawler in 2021

After unhappily going through multiple tires, I switched to the MTZ about three years ago and finally found a tire that I like. They're not the most aggressive MT, but they are a very capable and tough tire. They are relatively quiet on the road,, ride and handle well, and have excellent wet handling characteristics for a MT tire. I typically run them at 8 PSI off-road, where the sidewalls flex and hold up well to abuse.

I know several folks running the Maxxis M/T's and a lot of the Aussies do.

Crawling as in "western state desert" stuff - no input but on TN/S. East mud/rocks they do well.

Snagged a set for the LJ (33x10.5) and so far so good with them.

Size Needed: 37 X 12.5 X 17

I'm going to need tires soon and nothing is available. I probably have 6 months to a year so don't want to wait until I have a flat and am forced to buy somehting I don't want. I'm looking for a tire that is best for rock crawling on a rig that drives to and from the trail, not a DD.

I've had mostly GY MTR. No complaints on the trail, but many complain about balancing issues. They also seem to wear out fast.

I'm looking for a list of 5+ acceptable tires considering they're so hard to find right now. I see some MT Baja MTZ available right now. Any opinions on those? They're the only MT in stock right now that I can find.

Baja Boss - Also an option?

Others I've considered:

Nitto Trail Grappler - I've heard good things about these other than they are heavy. I've heard they wear well and last a long time.

Super Swamper - Which one would be best

Cooper STT Pro - I had these in a 35 and they were good, but looked small compared to the MTR

BFG Krawler - I've heard these are great, but super expensive
KM3 - Don't know much about this one. I know the KM2 sucked with weak side wall and ran really small.
While I don't have a tire recommendation and never will, I do have some selections that will put you in the position of needing to find another source for vehicle maintenance. You put any thing with the Interco brand on it on your rig and it will never grace my driveway while that tire is on it. Same goes for Pitbull and Parnelli Jones.

I don't have a dog in any of those fights but is that due to knowing their personnel or a product issue?

Thats the thing, ive used the milestar patagonias already and have been great low road noise and good grip ide say and thenm y buddy put some n his TJ

I've never understood giving tires a positive rating for low road noise. Maybe because my hearing is damaged though. I like the buzz of the tires.

Blaine - Curious as to why Interco is on your list. The bouncers around here swear by the TSL SX Stickies. Considering a set for the trail myself Is the main reason for my question.

He drives to the trail, he needs something that is round, tolerable mileage and does not chunk terribly so it will stay fairly well in balance. He is already running on the ragged edge of having enough front axle for 37's, add another layer of any bullshit and he's toast.

And, the main reason for us avoiding that tire, we aren't bouncing.
