This may sound REALLY STUPID... Is the check engine light on? If not then there are no codes to read.

My factory fog lights have only two wires. (At the light) one from the fog light relay 12v dc and one to ground.

The factory fog light switch just supplys power to close the fog light relay and power the lights. You can get by without it but the switch in the multi function switch mumbojumbo kills the fog lights when high beam is selected.

I replaced mine with aftermarket LED fog lights using factory switch and wires. Easy and fog lights turn off with high beams on and back on with low beams selected

I pulled mine out. Hosed them down. Used oxyclean and a scrub brush to loosen up 15 years of sweat and grime. Then pressure washed them with just plain water. Two days in the hot sun and they were dry and looked like new!

Installed new top! Jeep is up and running after a lot of head banging. Total invested now ... $6700.

Mine is an 03 so it may be different. That said it has one fuel line to the fuel rail and injectors. Pressure relief and return is in the tank. Disconnect fuel line at rail and turn ignition on. Fuel? Yes good. No check fuse (23) and fuel pump relay. I jumped the relay to prime the fuel line...

Air flow for sure. A smarter mechanic than I discovered it. Process was pull the exhaust at the manifold and it started right up! There is a way to pull the O2 sensor , install a pressure gauge and if you have more than 2psi you have clogging exhaust system.

12 volts but in very short pulses. I take the fuel rail off, flip it. Put a strip of paper towels near them and have a friend crank the motor over. Let the PCM pulse the injectors. Problem solved!!!! Catalytic converters clogged!!! So much back pressure it wouldn’t run. The wire to 3 and 4 injectors to pcm must have been broke a long time ago and the last owner was dumping gas and coked them up real good. Now that it runs I will see just what other issues I will have to...

I’ve done/do the same thing. Have a Bluetooth system in my motorcycle helmet. Many times I have left the house on the scoot only to pull over once the wind noise picks up to pull out my phone to adjust the volume.
