Am I missing something from my seat bracket?

That’s what I wanted to hear. I have already ordered another set of the other seat parts (figure couldn’t hurt to have extras). I just wanted to make sure I didn’t have 2003+ risers or something.

Am I missing something from my seat bracket?

I plan on ordering a set of bushings for the 2003+ model seats so I can fix things up. My other concern at the moment is what mounting brackets do I have. It doesn’t look to have ever been touched. Yet it seems I need bushings for a 2003+ model seat bracket. I ordered Mastercraft Baja RS seats...

Am I missing something from my seat bracket?

To be honest, I’d rather not have the flip feature on the drivers side. I’d rather have a more solid seating mount at least on the drivers side. For the time being I swapped the bolt/bushing with the passenger side. Here is a picture of it installed and a picture of the passenger side without...

Am I missing something from my seat bracket?

So I have a 2000 Jeep that I have ordered seats and brackets for. While I was at it I purchased stableseat bushings to replace the worn parts on the fold and tumble. As seen in the picture, my torx bolt should take the flat washer. As I was taking off the torx bolt, I noticed that my washer...

Very happy with Black Magic Brakes

I used Black Magic when I redid the fronts (calipers, rotors, and pads) and swapped the rear with their disc conversion. I am very happy with the upgrade and customer service with Mr Blaine was top notch.

    Rear driveshaft slinging grease

So just to make sure I’m saying this right, so that we don’t get mixed up. It is normal for the grease to exit the needle zerk. At least thats what it looked like last night, I will need to pull the shaft to make sure that is what I am seeing.

    Rear driveshaft slinging grease

I should also say when I first opened the package I called the manufacturer. I didn’t realize that the zerk was a needle type and thought it had broken off in shipping. It came to my attention because there was grease in the fitting and looked to have broken off.

    Rear driveshaft slinging grease

So I recently purchase a new driveshaft to go with my JB conversion SYE and noticed grease “slinging” out. It isn’t much, but I wouldn’t think there is a lot in it to begin with. The reason I checked was I kept smelling an odd smell after driving. Turns out a little of the grease was getting on...

    2000 TJ Build

Well, a little more done. Just installed a JB Super Short SYE, new heater core, and cleaned Evaporator core. Now I’m waiting on a driveshaft from Adams Driveshaft. I have used Tom Woods and have been satisfied with them, I just wanted to see what Adams had.

JB conversion super short speed sensor bolt

Well I finally got in touch with JB Conversions after I went to the parts store. For anyone that wants to know it is a M6 (6mm ?) bolt. They confirmed this and said they would ship me one of theirs right away. Big thank you to JB Conversions for the response. Just ordered my driveshaft from...

JB conversion super short speed sensor bolt

I’ve called and will keep calling. Just throwing it out there in case someone already knows.

JB conversion super short speed sensor bolt

Unfortunately I don’t see one. I didn’t even open the bag to just now. Wonder if it just wasn’t placed in bag.

JB conversion super short speed sensor bolt

So I just did the JB SS SYE for my 2000 TJ with 231 transfer case. Question is, what size bolt is used to retain the new speed sensor? The original retaining bolt is too big.

    2000 TJ Build

On a side note, I did replace rear driveshaft joints with spicer. Also, new motor mounts (MML) and transmission mount as well as body lift.
