    Removing hood

You're more likely to round out the torx than break them in my experience. Thats not just Jeep specific, I work on everything. Use a little bit of heat and just take it easy. Don't force anything because a rounded out torx could be more of a pain than just a broken bolt

Should I buy a JKU with the 3.8?

The 3.6 is a nice running engine, but problem filled. The early ones had misfire issues on one of the banks causing cylinder head replacement (recall). There is no doubt that the oil cooler gaskets will blow out way sooner than they should, that's another $700-$1000 depending on the shop if you...

Should I buy a JKU with the 3.8?

I see no reason to avoid the 3.8. My best friend and my dad both have jks with the 3.8, both problem free. A lot of my customers that have the 3.6 have had tons of tiny little problems that add up to a big headache. Not to mention the oil leak issues..

    Did I ruin my axle?

I would try to clean up the burs the best you can to at least get the joint back in, and go from there. A few smacks with hammer might get those ears back to an appropriate angle. No way to know until you try to put it together. U joints are cheap enough, and it if doesnt work then new axles...

    Did I ruin my axle?

You definitely did a number on those. Take a file and file down all the burs. Take dine sandpaper and clean up these rust inside where the caps go. Once you get it back together make sure the joints move freely. I have a feeling the ears might be a little tweaked

    How to remove drive shafts?

Post a few pics so we can be sure. Unless a Sye was installed, the rear should just pull out

    How to remove drive shafts?

The rear driveshaft should just have a slip yoke if its stock. A few light taps should do it. The front driveshaft is bolted to the transfer case

Swapped leaking steering box with Durango box. Got no steering

The pressure and return have different size fittings, so that wouldn't happen. That box and lines are most likely just full of air. Just need to bleed it out
