Hello Everyone. I’m trying to reconnect the crankshaft position sensor to the bell housing after a clutch replacement. However when I install the 7/16” bolts (with shoulder) the clamp is not tight to the bell housing. As though there is supposed to be a washer there. So the sensor can move...

Thanks for the replies. I did have all of the bolts out, it was just the paint and 23 years of other stuff holding the hinge on. As custommuffler said...some tapping and working with a hammer and it worked it’s way free. Going to try the heat with the Torx on the other side as jodomcfrodo...

TJ project rebuild decision time (more money less work or more work less money)

After joining the TJ forum and the great advice to a thread a few weeks ago, we're taking the group's advice and moving towards a TJ project car for myself and my 14-year old. But I need more advice from the forum. In looking at TJ's that range from 14 yrs to 24 years old here's my general...

Is having a TJ safer than the old CJs in terms of rollover?

As a newbie to the Jeep world I was hoping to get some input from the experts. I have a 13 yr old son that and I'm looking for a project Jeep that he and I can work on/restore over the coming years. While I do have some understanding of how things work I am a novice to this kind of thing. So...
