Improving the cooling on our TJs

Early (pre-HO) definitely did not. I'm not sure about the HO series (1991-95?) From early reading I thought that all TJs had a plug but I guess not. According to Wikipedia one way to break down the major changes is 1996-2001 and then 2001-06. What's mysterious is that my block is in the latter...

Improving the cooling on our TJs

I just finished reading this entire thread so I hope no one yells at me. ;-) I have a 2005 LJ that I am not having cooling issues with, but I also have a 2003 TJ block and head in my 1987 MJ. Can anyone tell me the first year the 4.0 block had a drain plug because the one in my MJ does not? Yes...

    4.0 I6 block cutaway drawing?

Long story, but I'm trying to confirm what the cooling passages below the cylinders look like. I'm pretty sure everything is interconnected. I have a motor that was full of rust in the cooling passages. We've gotten it pretty clean (the block) using a combination of air and water (coolant...

    4.0 I6 block cutaway drawing?

Does anyone have or know of a source for a cutaway drawing or something similar that shows the location / paths of the coolant passages through the block? Thanks

Source for TJ Unlimited rocker patch panels?

So the rust is finally catching up to me here in central Indiana. It's not through the metal yet but the bubbling is getting pretty obvious. I checked with C2C (classic to current) Fabrication about the dimensions of their replacement panels could cover the extra length of the Unlimited and...

    Rear shock recommendations?

Have you installed these on any of your Jeeps? Looks like they might be a cost-effective upgrade for sure.

    Rear shock recommendations?

No branding. As far as I know they could be original. I believe I am the third owner and there is no evidence that this Jeep has ever been offroad.

    Rear shock recommendations?

2005 TJ Unlimited. No lift. Circumstances have turned my Jeep into a small truck. The rear seat is out and the space behind the seats is now often full of tool boxes and other remodeling tools. My springs are holding up pretty well since I don't routinely keep the rear end loaded for weeks...

Who has bought a product from EAG? Curious about the quality of their products

I see this thread has been around a while. I’m considering their front bumper for my MJ. I can’t find an EAG website. One poster mentioned Paramount but I can’t confirm that they make EAG products. Anyone else have info on the EAG company? I do also have a TJU btw. :^)

    That bumper though

I've been wondering what the purpose of a stinger is myself. There are some I do like the look of, but most I don't. Surely there must be some purpose in mind?
