Just we just went out and got a filter and transmission fluid. Thanks for the help. I’ll update when I know more

Please keep the ideas coming I’d love to find a solution other than buying a whole new tranny... I can’t buy a tranny I’ll have to sell the Jeep.

From what I’ve found out, tv cable is a adjusted correctly. The Jeep doesn’t shift at wrong points, it just doesn’t have power. It slipped out of gear while going up hill when I was creeping. I don’t believe TV cable is the issue. I could be wrong.

Color is dark red, not sure when the filter was changed, I haven’t had the Jeep for almost 8 months. I’m not sure about the TV cable, this is the first I’ve heard of it

Teach the young jeeper the ways of keeping a Jeep. I put it up for sale this morning and then deleted it within minutes. I thought it would just need a whole new tranny but then I looked into it. College student going through engineering doesn’t have the time to work to buy a tranny.

I checked the transmission fluid and it’s fine. Almost too much in it but it’s good. What next guys

I talk to a guy that I’d more of a mechanic than I, he said it could be the synchronizer. Opinions?

My Jeep seems to have very little power, when I hit the gas pretty hard i can hear some clicking. If I pull something it just doesn’t sound good, RPMs sound like they are going up but I’m not moving much and tires aren’t spinning. I was going up a hill the other day and it was bumpy so I was...

Yes that’s what I’m seeing. I’ve heard of locking differentials but haven’t looked into them to see exactly what they are. Is that what I need to solve this problem?

When I put my Jeep TJ in 4x4 it will only use 2 of the 4 tires. Back and front spin, but only 2 of the 4. I assume there is a way to lock all 4 and use the full potential of my Jeep. Any advice would help. Just getting started in the Jeep community and will be building a great mud slinging Jeep!
