A couple months ago I set out to find a remanufactured transmission. I bought one from Transmission Exchange "aka bullripper" When it arrived my shop of choice took mine out and went to install bullrippers and found the bell housing to be different. After phone calls to trans exchange it was...
I'm installing a new transmission and tranny cooler should I bypass the radiator all together and only through new cooler? Or both? The cooler is for 29,000 gross vehicle wieght and I don't live in cold weather or snow
I know it is said the original aluminum/platic radiator is best. how about an all aluminum. why or why not?

Are you sure you need adaptors? I have a rubicon express 3.5" lift with 295/70/17. With a 4.5" back space you are good. Secondly you may want to change your gearing. I have the 4sp auto tranny with 4.88 gears and love the set up. You should have a larger lift for 35"

Ya keep in mind it is not just a rebuild but a remanufactured. Meaning they help to fix the problems they have. Shipping to me is 125.00 they pay. They they will help me with cost so we will see. Meaning they will pay and I will reimburse them since they get good prices
Bought new transmission 42RLE today from Bullripper "AKA" TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE COMPANY. The change plates and stator in torque converter. Build transmission with all updates and using Sonnax shift kit etc. They are built in house from a company who has been around a long time out of Oregon...
