It doesn't quite work that way. The cluster is on the network bus. There is no tach wire for example it's done as a signal with other items like the vss on the same wire.

100%. I'm running a 3" custom exhaust with a turbo, catalytic converter, and an OEM Silverado muffler. It's still louder than I would like.

The manual said 300 miles then run it for 5-10 minutes. That's a gamble I'm not willing to take. Get to the trail and the t-case is shelled. Ooofff.

Well, a 7k trailer minus the weight of the trailer body and add 4-5k lbs of Jeep doesn't leave much left over. Then if you don't have it leveled 100% and one axle gets a bit more on it than the other then parts fail. My point was I can hook up the flat tow in the same amount of time it takes...

I'm not aware of any bolt on 3" options for the TJ. There are quite a few 2.5" options that would probably be fine with a good muffler.

I have done both, and I greatly prefer flat towing over trailering. It's much easier to hook up and get on the road vs a trailer that has straps and ramps etc. I have the Stowmaster flat tow system, and I can be hooked up and ready to roll in under 5 minutes. The trailer pulls a lot harder...

The factory lines have a coating on them. Corrosion shouldn't be an issue.

I had a pre-filter on the old setup with the GT30. When I upgraded to the GT35 I had to change to a shorter filter. I might see if I can get one for this filter size too. This one was pretty filthy.
