I got my led tail lights wired in. I know the green and red goes to the left and the brown and red go to the right. My harness has a green and red on the right side. I didn't connect it, and everything works as it should. What should I do with it? I don't want it to ground out or anything...

I would like to share the process for my drop down tailgate. I have seen a few write ups but none too detailed. Note: I realized this cannot be done with a hard top unless an external latch is done, or the stock TJ tailgate is used. I started out with a CJ tailgate I picked up for a steal...

It's doesn't hesitate or anything like that. I'm taking it to a shop tomorrow. We are going to check the coil and the IAC to see if that does anything. The plugs are recent. My mechanic said maybe a head gasket starting to go out.

I tried to search for this issue, but the word "shake" always directs me to deathwobble. The issue is, about 90% of the time, on start-up the motor shakes and sounds like it wants to die for a few minutes. we just did the plugs and everything else seems to work. no codes on the reader. Help is...

Do you need the adjustable track bar? I know it's not as fancy, but most kits with only 2" of lift only have you drill the hole 3/4" to the right on the axle mount. Or maybe a drop bracket to correct the angle and shift the axle over slightly. 2" of lift won't move the axle out of center much...

I plan on using stock CJ hinges. Where I'm stuck at, til I get my tailgate, is creating a latch that can be opened from the outside. From what I see online, you have to reach in to unlatch the gate. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

did you do this? how did you make the latch? I have seen a few write ups but I'm still unsure how the latches work on the CJ tailgate.

Can I see pics of people's stock plastic fenders cut to look like flat fenders? I want to do this temporarily until I can save the $dough$ for tube fenders. Maybe some tips on what you used to cut them, tricks to cutting straight, etc etc etc?

I would look into getting a Dodge Durango steering box. they are supposedly more stout and have 3.5 turns lock to lock instead of only 2.5. I know they are bolt in for at least the 1997-2003 TJ.

I would follow your wires and make sure there isn't anything shorting or making a bad ground.

A lot of people who have 97-02 TJ's mod the intake tube to put that sensor there. supposedly it makes a difference when it reads the intake temperature from the tube instead of the intake manifold.

That trip honesty isn't very long for a Jeep that gets regular maintenance. I would be curious to hear about what extra parts people stock, back up fluids, first aid, tools, etc. for a trip like this or even longer.
