    Lares 11430

I'm looking at installing the Lares Rock Crawler box in my jeep, but I see on Rock Auto it says that that box uses a 13/16" Input Shaft. Any information on what I need to do make this work in my 1999 Sahara? https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=11541141&jsn=7...

Starting issue after radiator cap came loose

Saturday morning I went hunting and when I stopped to get some gas, I noticed something wet on the front fenders by the hood. Didnt pay it much attention since it was rainy out. Went on to my hunting land and the jeep was fine. No issues starting or running hot. I get done hunting and head home...

    Sound deadening questions

At the moment I only have bed liner on the inside of my jeep. The heat has been unbearable and its time to do something about it. I have a buddy with a JK who put sound deadening in the whole interior of his jeep and I really like the results. He also put Armorlite flooring in his but I don't...

    Electric Fan Wiring

Hey guys, I already have an electric fan that is wired to ignition, but sometimes the fan is so loud, (going through the woods early morning hunting) and I was wondering what anyone thought about wiring the fan to a switch to turn it off. I know some people out Switches to turn off/on their...

Will my Dana 30 spider gears work with my new carrier?

Just so I understand, you're saying the shop should be able to re-use the spider gears in my front diff?

Will my Dana 30 spider gears work with my new carrier?

Going with 4.88. Im not worried about the locker in the front right now, I just need to know if my spider gears from the 3.07 carrier will fit the 3.55+ carrier.

Will my Dana 30 spider gears work with my new carrier?

So I have all the parts for my gear change sitting in the shop, but I need to know if my spider gears from my 3.07's will transfer into my new carrier. I plan on putting a lunchbox locker or a powertrax no slip but for now, I need to know if I should order new spider gears or not. Thanks in advance!

    Rain-proofing hardtop glass

Yeah, from the sounds of it, an awning would be the easiest thing to put up. Thanks for the ideas guys! Merry Chrysler!

    Rain-proofing hardtop glass

Mac, I like the way you think man. I do have a roof rack, so the awning may be what I need to just nut up and buy. I do like the idea of a drip rail of sorts. And for reference everyone, this is the gap im working with

    Rain-proofing hardtop glass

Im trying to figure out how to deflect it to the sides. And yeah, I would have thought the design team would have made it so when you got groceries out of the back of the jeep, you dont pour water in. Is not too crazy of me to think that people wouldnt want water pouring in everytime they open...

    Rain-proofing hardtop glass

Not a bad idea. Like you said, a little ghetto, but if it works, it works. If I try this, I will report back here

    Rain-proofing hardtop glass

The pool noodle isnt a terrible option, but im looking for something more permanent that I dont have to think about. Like weather stripping that I could double sided tape to the window. In regards to the tarp idea, of course thats an option, and we had a tarp over the vehicles this weekend...

    Rain-proofing hardtop glass

Are you saying the jeep is designed to leak? I'm confused by your question. To answer, no. With the top and tailgate closed, no leak. My problem is with the glass. First off, its angled so water comes from the bottom of the glass, to the top. Secondly, there is no seal at the top. Im looking for...
