Apparently my voltage regulator has failed and I need to do an external bypass. While I'm waiting for shipment I'd like to do some prep and at least tap into an appropriate circuit, I need 10 amps with the ignition on. Any suggestions as to which circuit and where? This is what I'm installing...

Yes, all tests with engine running. Taking it to a motor/alternator shop tomorrow. I just sent my ECM to wranglerfix trying to diagnose a crank/ no start issue

Voltage is 11.53 across all combinations: batt negative to pdc, batt positive and at the alt. Same using firewall ground and engine ground. Gauge reading is the same

No. I only noticed it fluctuating while I was driving I was on my way to the gas station 🤷‍♂️🤣

Pic is the lowest, it climbs back up to 14v

While I had the hood up trying to diagnose a fluctuating volt reading I put a couple pieces of weatherstripping on the hood lip.

Check gauges light came on and voltage was down to half way between red and 14v. I pulled over, left the engine running and popped the hood, all appears normal. Read a couple threads on here describing the same condition and had the alternator checked at Napa and O'riellys both said it's good. I...
