    Opinion on grille inserts?

Hey now thats what I need is just the trim💯🤘👊. I like the way that they look, but the ones with the mesh or holes did restrict the air flow enough that on a hot Utah summer day it overheated (probably resulting from a combination of the inserts as well as the winch restricting air-flow)...

    Opinion on grille inserts?

Wish Id've read this thread earlier.......I have wondered why my Jeep has been overheating, couldnt figure it out and was almost ready to buy a new radiator, possibly install an electric fan, ect. I pulled out the grille inserts that my sweet wife had given me for valentines day and viola...

What did you do to your TJ today?

A new pair of shoes👌👍👊. After putting two giant holes in the sidewalk of my STT PRO's on a spur of the moment ride up the canyon after work at 10:30pm🤦🏼‍♂️. The ONLY plus was getting new tires, and wasn't that much of a plus because the Cooper's still had 60% tread remaining. Anyways, after...

    How to change your OPDA

I bought both the assembly housing with sensor at local Napa Auto parts store in small town Utah. As far as a "factory Mopar" brand, I think it's either online, or at the stealership, but I could be wrong there.

How bad were your spark plugs?

Oh shoot, sorry for assuming. What problems did you have with the YJ? The YJ is what started this Jeep obsession for me lol, of course mine was a 2.5l, but I loved that Jeep. Ended up trading it for a damn Land Rover Disco (huge mistake) about all the Disco did well was it had a comfortable...

Question about camshaft sensor and oil pump drive assembly

So to any who might look this up in the future, I picked up a new pulse ring/oil pump assembly, this one had an alignment hole in the pulse ring, and the housing. After resetting TDC at cylinder #1, and aligning these "holes" on the Pulse ring assembly, I was able to get the Jeep running, and...

Question about camshaft sensor and oil pump drive assembly

No shit? Thanks man! Really, I am not that computer savvy, and didn't realize this. Learn something new everyday. This will save me some time in the future.

Question about camshaft sensor and oil pump drive assembly

Couldn't agree more🤘💯. Every question that I "Google" which is TJ Wrangler related includes the words "TJ Wrangler Forum" as I want my results filtered to show me the advice from this forum 1st. This forum is #1 IMHO when it comes to TJ Wranglers.

What is the best riding and performing lift kit for my 2001 TJ?

MY current '03 TJ has an Old Man Emu/ARB lift with some JKS components as well. It rides better than any other Jeep I've owned. Exceptionally smooth when needed and stiff when needed. I'll see if I can find the link, but the place that sells them actually has you send them the details of your...

Question about camshaft sensor and oil pump drive assembly

Me too, however, the OCD in me will not let up until I have a new OPDA assembly installed with it oriented in the correct direction. It just burns my ass that my pulse ring or housing has no holes to line up.......otherwise as the several YouTube videos demonstrate, it's a piece of cake to...

How bad were your spark plugs?

The plugs that Jerry recommends are typically the best plugs for these 4.0L Wranglers, but for one reason or another, likely my aftermarket coil rail mine will only run decent on the NGK's that you installed. I guess the most important thing is that the Jeep runs well. Welcome to the Jeep...

Question about camshaft sensor and oil pump drive assembly

So I'm not quite to the bottom of this problem yet, but as things sit while I wait for the new part to arrive (or better put the store to open) I had a friend plug off the plug hole for cylinder #1, and am certain that I'm at TDC, put the OPDA back in, plugged the sensor in, crank it and...

Question about camshaft sensor and oil pump drive assembly

Thanks for the advice, I have done a lot of reading, trial and error, and am pretty certain that I just need the new "tool" to line up the pulse ring as nothing came with just the sensor, however I was thinking this morning, and If I get the timing to TDC on the compression stroke, look down in...

Question about camshaft sensor and oil pump drive assembly

Thank you so much, I actually found it, just waiting for a buddy to help out by plugging the plug hole to cylinder #1 so I can set TDC and hopefully get my Jeep back on the road! I've gotten so much help on this forum, it's been extremely helpful
