Thanks thats actually really good advice. Hopefully I don't have to take it down again anytime soon but if I do i'll try to rig something up.

    Can you swap a 42RLE in for a 32RH in a '99 TJ?

Before I even bought the Jeep I read about this on the forum.. Great bit of advice but the part that scares me is that mine is already at 199k so I'm not sure how much extra longevity I will get out of it by adding the cooler at this point.. For $300 an extra 10k doesn't seem too worth it to me...

    Problems filling fuel tank

Damn. That would've come in handy when I replaced my fuel pump assembly a couple days ago... Stupid and didn't run the tank down so did the swap at 3/4 of a tank and tried to balance it on a normal jack was near impossible, had a piece of wood to help distribute the load but when it was time to...

    Can you swap a 42RLE in for a 32RH in a '99 TJ?

@Chris On a separate note are these mutually exclusive? Mine has the 42RLE nearing 200k.. If it went out would only a 42RLE TJ fit and not a 32RH or JK 42RLE?

What did you do to your TJ today?

Thanks! Mine are 2.75"x5". I normally dont like them too much either but like to have a flag on everything I drive. I wouldve went for black aswell, but the silver is reflective and I thought that they would match pretty well. Happy with how it turned out.

    Randy the Wrangler's Revival

Thank you! I was amazed at how they turned out, years of dirt and dog hair under the seat covers came out surprisingly well with multiple, multiple passes, some time and some elbow grease.

September 27th 2018 The interior of the jeep was disgusting. First thing I did was strip out nearly all the interior, and give the tub a deep clean. After cleaning the tub I used a shop vac, water and some Macguiars detailing shampoo to deep clean the seats. Below are some before and after pics.

    Randy the Wrangler's Revival

Just graduated college so still working on a budget.. Nothing crazy other than something to get me through the snow and out in the fields when I need to. I've been working out all the kinks since I got it in September and trying to learn as much about Jeeps as I can. Love the forum.

    Randy the Wrangler's Revival

Thanks! I was just looking for a decent frame and engine that seemed to have been cared for. Runs like a top. I feel like I stole it for $2,800. It already looks alot better, gonna start typing up the posts now to bring the thread up to date.

Only about 90.. Was a great maiden voyage though, back when it was warm enough to have the windows down.

Build thread for the 2003 Patriot Blue TJ Sport 4.0L I purchased on September 25th 2018. This is my first Jeep and am very proud to be part of the family. Only stipulation from the previous owner was that I don't change the name so Randy stays. I just graduated college, and am still working on...

Very long crank time when starting

Just installed the Delphi FG1221.. Seems to fit fine, initial startup went well.. Will report back when I see how it holds up. On a side note, I checked today on Amazon and they had it for $80. I asked Summit racing if they could still do their price match since I already placed the order...
