Ok following up for the next person who is looking to do this. I have about 300 miles on since getting the 5.13s. PROS: Its amazing! It truly does drive like a completely different rig. I no longer need to always turn off OD because the rig is never lacking that 'umph' to get it going. CONS...

Yeah its a pain for sure. Definitely would've been preferred if mine came with a hard top, but it was too nice to say no to! I have a brand new soft top on it now so I'm not desperate, I just really like the drive more with the hard top.

So as the title states - looking for some advice. I've been looking for a black oem hard top for my 04 LJ, but finding something not a 12 hour drive away has been challenging. There's a 2 piece Rally Top for sale near me that looks to be in decent shape for $1500 - should I just go for that? I...

Complete package, and from order to shipping it took 5 weeks. They quoted 4-6 weeks so they hit it right on the head with that. My wife and I have been house hunting so I legitimately forgot about them, so the shipment email was a welcomed surprise!

Update: the 5.13s are finally here! Getting the LJ in for the regear later this week! I'll circle back and update after with break-in / my thoughts on it for anyone that is looking to do this in the future. Christmas is here early!

Thanks for sending! I wish it were closer, seems like a pretty fair price. That'd be like a 10 hr drive from me at 11mpg, so at that point the math doesn't work out.

Replaced both upper and lower rear control arms so getting rid of the old. Off a 2004 LJ. In Charlotte for pickup, not looking to ship.

Looking for black LJ hard top in good/great condition. I'm in Charlotte but willing to travel within reason and pay fair market price. Hoping to find oem before I breakdown and order an aftermarket top new.
