It's more like the part I need that is specific to the abs controller is discontinued, and I didn't want to Frankenstein fittings together to get brake line to fit 😅

Has anyone replaced their braking system to remove or replace the ABS controller? Are there any upgrades for it that will work for large diameter tires?

If you don't get any pressure when you turn the key, it's likely the pump. If you get pressure and lose it after you shut down, then it could either be the check valve or a leaky injector. Mine happened to be the injector, which caused a whole host of other issues, resulting in an engine...

Do you happen to know what the fitting sizes are for them? I'm not finding a huge variety of fitting sizes for male to male brake hose. Mostly just 1/8" NPT.

Solved. Broken pushrod Stuck valve Lifter worn down by the cam to the point there was a hole in it. Long cranking was caused by a leaky fuel injector on cyl 3.

For those who have done V8 swaps, or other higher power/torque engines, what is the rated HP/TQ of your engine, and did you do any other driveline upgrades? My thinking is, if I have to do a swap, I don't really want to need to replace much of the driveline. How high in power and torque would...

I'll do a lot of my own work, but when it comes to something I don't have the tools to do, I'll take it somewhere. Already had one mechanic stumped by my issue. Going to an engine specialist in a couple days.

I have a powermaster high torque starter. I love it right now. However, if you're worried about being stranded, get yourself a sat phone and a CB radio, and make sure you have emergency numbers/frequencies pre-programmed.
