SEM is also a good product. I remember in the 70's a product called Marhyde?, IIRC, it would peel like a sunburn.

I did some interior panels and console on my 94 Blazer , I think the product is called LVP, its a spray on dye I think. Its been 2 yrs and is holding up great . the console takes a lot of abuse from my dog standing on and back and forth from front seat to rear. Its

It works! Revving the nuts off a TJ ended up giving it way more power (no more carbon buildup)

My dad was a auto mechanic all his life , I remember as a kid watching him drizzle water down carbs or sometimes ATF to get rid carbon buildup, this was back when engines needed a ring job at 60k . No one would think about buying a vehicle with 100k

What actor makes you change the channel?

Any actor , sports figure, celebrity , or whatever that thinks I give 2 shits about their opinion on anything. Do what you get paid to do and keep you views to yourself.

Which floor mats would you recommend?

In my opinion the Qt's are hard to beat for the price, the Wtecs were in my suburban when I bought it , I would never pay that much for them. I may even swap them out and put them on CL. They do what they were intended but don't stay in place very well.

Which floor mats would you recommend?

I just installed the quadratecs , also had them in my last yj, I really have been pleased with them. I have weathertec in my suburban , I had to put a screw into the kick panel because the edge had curled inward .

Every time one of the greats passes on he calls me . Dad we are losing them. Tom Petty, Glen Frye , Charlie Daniels. I hope Joe Walsh lives...

For the life of me, I can't believe people listen to this

The record companies realized about 20yrs ago that us old farts sitting around the gas station listening to the Hag didn't spend our money on music and concert tickets , so they decided to appeal to the younger generation and tap that revenue. That meant all the artist had to be prettier and...

For the life of me, I can't believe people listen to this

Damn, I must be really behind the times, I listen to ,Bad Company, Skynard , Zeppelin , the Eagles ,anything that requires actual talent to play, which rules out pretty much everything today. Dont even get me started on what they now call " country music ".

Stock radiator fan vs electric radiator fan

My last jeep was a 95 yj with 4cyl, did a chevy 5.7 swap , ran the stock yj radiator for over a year and it never got over 195 , spent good money on an aluminum v8 conversion radiator ,it still ran 195, it just looked cooler under the hood.

    Another dang rattle

Glad you found it , stuff like that will drive you crazy, I only drive mine occasionally and I never remember to look for the rattle until I here it. Kinda like you never remember you need wiper blades until it rains.

    Another dang rattle

I have a noise that sounds like something loose inside my glove ,or behind it. I've even removed the glove box to no avail. Its a plastic sound not metallic at all.

    Why the hate for snorkels?

I had a similar idea, market a snorkel with E.T head on top wrapped in a blanket!
