Keep in mind that you may need to modify (raise) the fan shroud. I just moved the mount holes down and notched the shroud so the upper coolant line would not hit. Well worth it though, in my opinion.

Yea, lifting the motor a bit straightened the rear drives shaft a tad and smoothed it out. The front shaft is long enough th handle the added angle.

Old post but here goes anyways. How did you remove the front fasteners to move them? Were you able to reuse them or is that a rivet in the pic? I used the same seats and your right, the front is a bit steep.

One thing to check is the brake linkage under the dash. If it hasn't been greased it will dry out and bind a bit. I had this happen to my GC, the brakes would drag (pedal wouldn't fully return causing the brake booster to engage putting enough pressure on the brakes to cause a noticeable drag)...
