I assume hack and tap, but what's up with this flange?

Gotta love social media LOL 😂 Anyway, hope you get your vibes sorted Ante Up.. Couple of set ups can lead to a good outcome, none wrong just different.

I assume hack and tap, but what's up with this flange?

The problem isn’t the flange but the problem is his flange is bent/shaft is bent or some combinaction.. I agree there is something not true in regards to the flange. I was simply explaining my set up, which is also tried and tested on 100’s/1000’s of vehicles.. It’s not a competition it’s just...

I assume hack and tap, but what's up with this flange?

I had a couple of custom drive shafts made for my TJ but neither had a flange like this. Straight from a slip on yoke to double cardan, eliminates any chance for such problems.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Hi, I live in Australia and legally need the park lights as well. I Was thinking of getting a set of these 7” Stedi Homage LED headlights and the blue wire pictured on their web site is apparently the park light connection (10% backlit). Reflector | 10% Backlit Illumination (Parking...

    Seat Cover Reccommendations?

For my 04 TJ I got hold of a set of 97-02 TJ seats (a lot more comfortable) then had them completely re upholstered then bought a set of Bartact seat covers to protect them.

Many changes / additions / improvements over the past 18 months but the end product was completely worth it

Everybody that worked on or has seen my TJ has commented that it is tidy and looks factory. Took a lot of time but well worth it.. I have the 4L60E 4 speed auto and couldn’t be happier 😁 What are you running in yours ?

Many changes / additions / improvements over the past 18 months but the end product was completely worth it

Stock crate 5.7ltr.. don’t need any more than that, drains the fuel tank quick enough as it is lol 😂 upgraded diffs with G2 30 spline chromoly axles and 4.10 gear ratio with e-lockers.. changed the stock control arms out a few weeks back and the upper rear bushes were buggered due to the torque...

Death wobble (don’t see anything loose)

After all the upgrades 2 weeks ago to a complete set of adjustable control arms and 2 1/2” lift (MOAB springs and Rancho shocks) I park the TJ up until I got back from work until I got the wheel alignment done (I set this up by eye as best I could in my carport). So back from work and I took it...

Death wobble (don’t see anything loose)

I had the wobble in my TJ when I first bought it. It already had a 2” lift with 10.5R 31’s.. I can’t say exactly what may have stopped the wobble as I spent some serious coin on many upgrades over time but after I rebuilt both my diffs I also replaced all the control arms (my front control arm...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Pulled out the front diff and did mods to right front upper control arm mount. Installed 8 new control arms. Installed new 3” Rancho MOAB springs RS shocks all round. Drop auto bash plate and do mods to allow for front driveshaft drop. Replace rear disc brake slide bolt rubbers/slides. Install...

    Hardtop hoist recommendations

I installed a small electric hoist recessed into the roof of our garage. Back the Jeep in, unbolt the hardtop, couple of lifting slings looped through and hitched to the crane hook and it’s up and off. Move the Jeep out from underneath and position the purpose built mobile trolley and lower the...

    DIY Hardtop Hoist

This is my set up. I bought an electric mini hoist ($120) and recessed it into the garage roof cavity myself (bit of work but well worth it) . Changed the single power outlet to a double to plug it in. Bought 2 lifting slings ($30) and adjust to the size required and just loop through either...
