I have no idea why I can’t find these 2 parts, on our ‘00 TJ. Smittybilt top, tailgate bar, and a rubber boot got stick shift.

Well, after fighting a cooling issue, that ended buy ripping off an angry bird grill, we gave my son his grad present. Completely surprised him! 2000 TJ 2.5, smittybilt soft top. Had a tub liner sprayed in after buying as well as a new radiator, thermostat, and a good cleaning. Our boy...

Think we got it. Cleaned the condenser like crazy, and put up in a new radiator. But the biggest difference maker was removing that after market grill. Those things should be outlawed!

2000 TJ 2.5 I posted earlier this week that I was running hot. Sucks! Thermostat, Water Pump and radiator cap checked out. Head gasket checked Out fine as well. My mechanic replaced the radiator and it runs “cooler”. Awesome, right? Wrong. She runs hotter (235) running down the road...

Its still in the Jeep. Oddly enough, I tested the original stat, it opens in boiling water at 200 degrees. Very slowly. Lots to do tomorrow. Really don’t want to work on that jeep when it’s 95 deg outside!
