I have the yoke and nut off right now because I am changing the seal maybe when i tighten the nut it will remove some play. Forgot to add no vibes or unusual noises.

I installed a SYE a few months ago in my 06 lj and now the rear transfer case output seal is leaking. While removing the seal i noticied the output shaft has about 1/4 in of play front to back is this normal?

I might try 12 hole injectors next k suspensions are $150. Should be a slight mpg gain i have a guage that monitors mpg. I wonder how hard it would be to adapt ev14 16 hole injectors.

Colder air is usually more dense more oxygen more power. Problem with the 4.0 is the intake and exhaust ports are on the same side of head which is not as effecient and the exhaust manifold heats the intake manifold.

Exhaust wrap is a insulator slows heat transfer down doesnt stop it. If the piping gets hot it will take longer to dissipate the heat. Reflective tape reflects the heat like a barrier so the piping doesnt absorb the heat. Heat always flows to cold.

You should be using reflective tape on the intake not exhaust wrap.

The gap from the top of the tire and bottom of the flare. I previously had 35s which measured 34 mounted almost 1 inch less wheel gap. I guess thats why it looks like to much gap to me. I still might order a set of 6in factory style flares i think they will look better.

285/70r17 SL Yokohama geolander GO15s only 46lbs a piece mounted on 17x8 black rock vipers 0 offset. They measured out to 32.25 mounted at 36psi fender flares are 6in wide. Thinking about 5mm wheel spacers with 6in wide factory style flares anyone know if they would close the wheel gap a little...

Ive had reflective on the outside my trans tunnel for yrs no problems. Should be fine if inatalled properly. My reflective has lasted for years on the outside in a trans tunnel no problems. Roll on would also help with rust prevention.

Would be more effective on the outside of the tub instead of the inside.

SYE and driveshaft are installed set the pinion angle 1 degree less than the driveshaft no vibes or leaks yet. Install was very easy with the right tools and only removing the back half of the transfer case.
