Looking to get black metal rocker guards for my 04 LJ.They will be mostly for show as I do not do any heavy off roading.I have a small rust spot that I have to address before installing the rocker guards.Would like to be below 400 if possible.

Look at the motobuilt. I like the saavy look better but they're out of stock. I emailed them and they can't give me an answer as to when they'll be back. I offered to pay double to expedite a pair and they said no.

Who knows, diamond plate or spray paint? If it's just for show anything would work. Just get what's cheap and looks okay.

I don't know what's worse.
Rugged Ridge or having to buy another $100 of crap from Quadratec.
I took my little 2” lifted LJ thru the trails in the Black Hills with the Rugged Ridge LJ sliders. Banged em hard a few times and they held up fine. I didn’t like the textured finish they came with so I put a few layers of paint on them to make them more black. For what you want to use them for they’ll do the job
