Curious if anyone has one and if/what lift you are running on them? Have a very good conditioned one (4x4 with the 7.3 diesel) that's stock height and wouldn't mind a modest 2-4" lift, but haven't lifted anything other than Jeeps. Any feedback or suggestions would be helpful.

My '04 (same as the '00) 4" Skyjacker spring lift with 35x12.5 r18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers

I have a 2003 V10 2.5" leafs front and the 4"block in the rear. I can post some pics later. It is time for new springs and am having a time figuring out if I want to stay were I'm at or go higher.

Post them pics if you have them! I'm kind of leaning towards a leveling kit and run 33's on it.
Ran 33's (295x75r16 General Grabbers) with a leveling kit and a 1" rear block for a long time (2005-2019) with no issues made the switch to 35's when I found a set of wheels I actually liked
By then the lift springs were starting to sag

This is probably the way I'm going to go. I don't need or necessarily want the extra lift. Enough to clear 33's (or close to it) should be just fine. Any suggestions on shocks for these trucks?

I'm running Bilsteins, duals up front and singles out back
People complain that Bilsteins are too stiff and they are at low speeds but are really smooth when the pace picks up

What size tire you running there?
285/75r16s Just shy of 33s. I don't know what springs are on know but measured 27 and half to center of front rim to bottom of fender, I think 25" is stock. Procomp has a 2" spring, rough country has a 2.5" leaf and the 4" rear block can be purchase alot of places. Get a knew set of shocks (No Rough Country) I just put on Skyjacker M95s and you should be set. I am running original track bar.

Just a little update on this. Haven't made any purchases on a lift or tries yet, but have been getting a few things done to it. The truck had a clunking/clanging sound coming from the front end when you hit a bump. After a quick inspection, found one of the front shocks was bad and the bushings for the sway bar was shot. Put on a set of Monroe Reflex shocks, new steering stabilizer, and sway bar bushings. Fixed all the noises coming from the front and really tightened up the steering. After that little project, had to replace the glow plug relay. It was having some cold start issues, so tested the relay and it was bad. Also replaced the cab running lights with LED's and new lenses, and been getting the interior cleaned up to my standards. Up next is looking into an exhaust system. This truck has lived it's entire life in Illinois. It's relatively rust free, as it was only used in the winter to plow snow. Part of the exhaust system was either ripped off, or rusted out and was removed at one point. Once I get that taken care of, the lift and ties will be next. I've decided a leveling kit for the front and 285/75/16's are the route I'm going. My biggest question is just do the mini coil packs for the front, or try and find a roughly 2" lifted leaf spring for the front. From what I've read, these leaf springs can fatigue and sag over time and the fact this truck has had a snow plow on it, is it best just to get those old leaf springs replaced? Not familiar enough with leaf springs to know if there are any signs of them needing replaced. I joined a Powerstroke forum, but so far, I've gotten more feedback on here about the truck.

So far, loving the truck. I'm new to the diesel world and the mods are almost as endless as the Jeep world, so going to have some fun with this rig. Odds are, we'll pick up a trailer down the road and use the truck to tow the Jeep. The wife wants to do a rooftop tent on it too and use it as a camping rig, so that would be fun too.

Decided against the leveling kit and ordered a set of X code leaf springs. From what I've gathered, they will raise the front 2-3". Hopefully it's closer to 2". Haven't installed the leaf springs yet, but got new tires put on yesterday. Went with 285/75/16's. They didn't fill the wheel wells quite as much as I thought they would, so will be interesting how the front looks once the new leaf springs go on.

Average cost? I was rolling the thought around about lifting the Excursion but I've got other things to do to it first.
I ordered new X-Code leaf springs. With shipping, they were right at $400. That includes new u bolts and hardware. These should level out the front, so not technically a true lift kit.

Just and update on this. Removed the snow plow frame, which was no easy task and installed new x code leaf springs, which raised the front about 2". Also replace all the tie rods, new pads and rotors, blacked out the grill, and new LED headlights. Got all that done the last couple days. Still have a couple small things left, but glad to have the major stuff done.
