I find making my own stuff is more satisfying.@Dunkut88TJ, that's too much work. Go buy a 9 lb. UCF aluminum stubby bumper for $224.

I like that one, also the genright, motobilt , but I think my winner maybe the fishbone. It’s stubby and still gives me enough space to put the lights. new front brakes wednesday after work https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=7207976&cc=1432231&pt=13824&jsn=471 less than 2 hours . nice and easy, hadn't done brakes in close to 15 years ( that was in a 1994 baby cherokee and was a nightmare, couldn't get those stupid anti rattle rubber sleeves back in the calipers had to pay a jeep dealer over a 100 bucks to do it ).
I contacted them and they told me "they're designed in the US and production processed are made in China". That's how they worded it.
Yeah I looked into it, sadly many of my Jeep mods are “made in China”
B Man, a little more money, but I've installed three of these recently and they are a decent product for the money. This set also comes with front upper windows, if you need them. The only negative comment I have is that the fit isn't as tight as I'd like. Full disclosure, my Jeeps always sit inside. However, I put one on a buddies Jeep last Fall and he's happy so far. His sits outside.I just went outside after the downpour of rain, only to find the rear of my Jeep flooded. I sealed the tailgate bar, thinking that had to be the cause. Nope! I pulled the wet carpet out to let it dry and looked up to see both rear corners of the top have holes where the stitching is pulling apart from old age. I'm guessing some clear silicone sealant on the inside should do the trick. If not, I'll have to try out one of those cheapo discount tops. After spending almost $500 a month in gas now, a Bestop isn't in my future anytime soon.

didn’t do anything “to” the jeep, but did this “with” the jeep yesterday. The boy was bored so we grabbed a couple fishin poles and hit the dirt roads and stopped at a few creeks to wet a hook. The water was high, muddy and moving fast from all the recent rain we’ve had so we didn’t catch anything but we had a good time and cured his boredom.
Thanks! I think that'll do the trick for the money. I rarely take my Jeep on long highway rides anymore, so noise isn't an issue. I found gas for $3.99 a gallon yesterday and was happy about it. Go figure.
p.s. There's a nice black hard top in Harrisonburg for $800 obo if you know anyone looking for one.

Waterproofed my leaking soft top this morning. I will find out in the morning if it helped or not. If it works, I will be using it on my boat with a screen door bottom. If it doesn't work, I'm going back to Lowe's and get my $13 back.

Hard to beat a father and son on a Georgia dirt road fishin' in a creek.
Finished my rear deck. I used scrap lumber, scrap carpet and some Tuffy tie down rails. Total cost was $160 for the rails. It leaves the entire rear for lockable storage. The rails are very nice. 1/8" powder coated steel. I can tear the deck down in 30 minutes to install the rear seat.
