What did you do to your TJ today?

Saved my Bestop tinted windows when I replaced my top last week. Not one scratch on any of them (4 years old). Got a buyer for $150 shipped. New ones are around $350 now.
p.s. Maybe I should have charged extra for the custom decal.

Finished installing a Rostra cruise control in the Jeep. It actually works pretty good. No picture of the install but here's my Jeep.View attachment 322204
Definitely interested in the read out on the Rostra CC. I have a buddy who wants CC and the factory option is to much money/work for him. I believe @Zorba has done that modification as well.

I just finished it last night and only tested it out for about 5 miles worth of driving. It seemed to worked well. The hardest part about the install was getting to the wires under the dash. I did read through Zorba's walkthrough of his install to help prep mine. He took his cluster out to get to his wires. I didn't do that but that is a good idea.

Finished the drivers side seat pocket. The furst aid kit has "D" rings so I just made carabiner clips to attach it. I found an old Swiss army ammo bag from my Pinzgauer and decided it would make an excellent tool holder, so I made a tool roll as well. Now I need to move on to some greasy work. I tend to keep tools secured. God forbid that orange handle forms flying out and hits you in the head.

My buddy has a 04 Rubicon that has been throwing a P0441 code that’s intermittent.

I performed a smoke test and everything looked good. I was messing with the purge valve and noticed it had been installed upside down.

I flipped it and reset the check engine light. I hope that does the trick.

After he left I tinkered with my 03 Rubicon. I swapped out my under hood light with a retractable light. I read about it on this forum. I really liked the idea of a better light.

then, in my haste to get out on the road for a wind-dry, I forgot I had strategically placed the bucket behind the rear tire until I heard the telltale explosion. This wasn't my first rodeo however, so I just kept going until I heard the supplemental crunching sound of the front tires rolling over it before it was exposed & I realized what it was
