Need to cut tail pipe

I know my tailpipe is too long. What is the smart way to cut it back. Same angle?

I cut mine and its behind the bumper now

I just copied the factory angle with a sawzall, when I shortened the tip on mine

I cut mine about 3 inches behind the muffler.

I recently had a custom stainless system done for my Jeep. I wasn't happy how they ran the tailpipe out the back. I cut it back about 12 inches and put a tip on it.
