Hi People, I need to find a way to talk on the phone in my Jeep. I can't even have a call with my top on driving on the highway. Forget about it with the top off. Does anyone have any ideas?

The microphone that came ith my kenwood stereo let's me have flawless conversations at highway speeds with the top and doors off.

I'm not sure it's possible to have noise-free conversations without a headset with its microphone close to your mouth. I did outside sales for years which meant I needed to talk on the phone a lot while driving. I bought a Kenwood car radio like suggested above with a Bluetooth microphone mounted in the instrument cluster area to try to collect as much of my voice as possible but if my top was off I still had too many conversations that ended with my client asking me to call him back when I wasn't driving.

If talking while driving with your top off is a need, I'd find a good ANC headset that covers both ears with a boom microphone. ANC is "automatic noise canceling". ANC really works well but not even it is perfect with a lot of noise which can be a problem in an open Jeep. ANC is a circuit that samples the surrounding noise and feeds that noise back 180 out of phase into the mic and earphones to significantly reduce noise. I flew with an ANC headset and the noise reduction was amazing.

I’ve tried many options and the Belkin surprisingly performed the best for my iPhone (clear and does an impressive job of not picking up wind and other bg noise). I imagine they have similar products for different phone brands.

My second choice are definitely the airpod pros (have the earbuds). I laughed at the cost when they first came out. Now, they are one of my favorite apple products ever created. If mine get lost I will buy more the same day. I often drive with the top down (w/ 35 MTs) and the mic is very clear from 45 mph down with a a useful limit greatly degrading around 65mph (doors and windows off)

I have a dash mic wired to the stereo with a foam cover and it is the worst performer.

I was going to say the same about my PowerBeats Pro, which is essentially the same drivers and tech in a different industrial design. If you like something like the AirPods but need something that has a more ergo design that is built for active lifestyle, might also look into the PowerBeats Pro.

Any of the bone conduction hands free ear things work fine. They sound a little funny but they don't pick up the the wind noise so they work. I think Motorola makes one, that's the one I've used. High wind is no issue. Your voice sounds a little funny on the other end but they can hear you clearly and you can turn them up loud enough on your end it isn't an issue. It sits tight in your ear and not everybody likes that but it works.
