What did you do to your TJ today?

When I installed the transfercase drop kit for the same reason as SAWB; the torque rating for those bolts are 55 ft lbs.
I could not attain that torque setting; the poly bushings would continually compress and the most I could attain was 25 ft lbs and they slowly loosened over a couple days.

Must have been made in China. Nothing I've ever used did that. 🤫

Going over the final details before our road trip down to OBX next weekend. Changing a couple fluids and throwing a quick coat of paint on the frame to cover up a few ugly spots. Might get a little wild and paint these old ugly Method’s today too. A nice bronze would look good with this old Medium Fern Green 😁

I know finding quality TJ parts in the U.S. is as easy as falling off a log ...

Lol it's not THAT easy. You just saw I drove 1,000mi to get the bumper and tire rack system. Hardtops are pushing 2 Grand now. Doors over a thousand.

Your upper turned out pretty nice tho

Ooops sorry mate ...I didn't realize you were serious when you were talking your 'wifes sagging lintel' I thought you were joking about something else that could be sagging...;) ( I'm off to the Hospital to have my foot surgically removed from my mouth now ) haha

Ha Ha Ha ! Gotcha I was joking around just couldn’t resist making you squirm. I’m so bad. LOL !

One side sprayed. Only spraying the frame for now. I’ll unbolt the axles and remove the springs later on and address them, I’m due for a JJ rebuild anyway. You never know, something new might show up under this frame 😁 I did take the time to polish up my Savvy rear control arms though
