My shifter extension came in today so that will be going on as soon as I get a minute. Tired of hitting my knuckles on the dash when I shift 1,3,5
Shifter extension installed no more busted knuckles woohoo!
Started rebuilding the jack and realized it's an old harrah handyman (pre hi lift). Gonna have to do some research for new pins and springs I guess maybe the hi lift rebuild kit works not sure anybody know off hand?
Did Boogieman have a birthday or something .... I quit having them myself !

In honor of your tasteful mods I bought 2 grommets at Grainger and 2 cheap LED lights to see if I could fashion some recessed onto my stubby bumper- looks like it will work well.
Got an aluminum shift knob to make my hand even colder in the winter.
What about hotter in the summer? Mine in my car wants to burn Mach 1 into my hand.
Why is the shifter so close to the dash? Do you have giant, puffy hands?
Mine's nowhere near it.

So, I picked up these today! It's been impossible to find black half doors with khaki interior panels. They weren't cheap, but everything is there, including mirrors and the key, and everything works and is in very good condition.
Why is the shifter so close to the dash? Do you have giant, puffy hands?

I have no clue I'm guessing it has to do with the way its lifted maybe the small body lift moved it just right I'm not sure I just know if I am rowing through the gears with any kind of determination I either accidentally turn my light bars on with my knuckles going down to 1st or bang my knuckles on the panel going to 3rd it was a hard choice whether to just heat that puppy up and put some bend in it or get an extension..... glad I got the extension I don't feel like I'm shifting down by my hip anymore it's a really nice height with a 3" extension. For reference I'm 6'2 about 235lbs
Nice find! It's not just black - any color with Khaki panels is tough to find. I, too, just found some for my LJ, and I also paid way too much for them. Enjoy!

LOL! Yeah, I know it, so hard to find the khaki. I'm glad I'm in good company opening up my wallet!
Got a new driveshaft delivered today. Now if I can only get a decent day to install the SYE before spring. I need a friend with a garage!
