Car pics too cool not to share

Ok, this has to be the coolest way to start a bike or hot rod. Impractical, 100%, but no one will start it up and drive away on their own, so like a stick shift it’s an anti theft device too. ;)

I once saw a WWII tank started this way. I think they said it had a 120lb flywheel spinning around.

That's just too cool! The question is, is it good for multiple starts per wind-up? It is, after all, a "Hardly"! ;)

Reminds me of this:

More from Majestic. Can't say that I really like them, but they're different.

At least the last one you shared is trying to channel it's inner "Nomad" body style the rest are all technically just 2 door Sedan Delivery body styles.. But maybe that's just me nitpicking....

If my memory serves me correctly Chevy never actually made a Nomad with panel sides.

The sedan delivery would be a low trim level 150 or a 210. The Nomad was top of the line like a 392 Wrangler with all the bells and whistles.

That's beside the point though... A customer could dress up the sedan delivery, but the Nomad never came with panels instead of back windows, also the Nomads B pillar is canted forward bottom to top, the Sedans were straight up and down.

As I was asking my dad about your post, he showed me the 54 Nomad Concept car.
