Car pics too cool not to share

I was going to say all those pictured had no "visor" over the windshield and the air intakes on the sides were stamped outward instead of inward. Not sure the years those were changed.

I believe sometime in 1961. Also the top hinges on the cargo doors were lowered to the beltline at the paint cutoff.

Maybe a little Yankee engineering would help. A little Mark IV Big Block Chevy power might change some of the " Slowbus " impressions. ;)

Everyone knows I don't particularly care for slammed vehicles. But in this case its inevitable what with the weight of that motor! Besides, you're not going to be able to steer it, so the front wheels might as well point forward...

I seriously doubt the chassis is even remotely close to resembling a VW Transporter , and why exactly wouldn't you be able to steer it?

I have a feeling that it would tend to go in a straight line regardless of which way the front wheels were turned - hopefully the presumably non-stock chassis would over come that, but those front tires look awfully anemic.

For you, @Wildman! ;) :ROFLMAO:

Just testing the waters on this one I guess to say. I’ve got a 1956 Belair wagon car has been four linked in the rear and complete custom front frame and suspension, car is bagged all the way around and lays on the frame or throw sparks while ya drag frame if ya wanna.Motor is a fresh .030 over 350 with a turbo 400 trans and a posi 4:11 rear end. Has disc brakes in the front. It is a running ready to go vehicle with a clean Wa title in my name. This thing will get more attention then any car at any meet you will go to. Front suspension is a one of a kind system you will never see anywhere else I promise. Feel free to text and ask questions or to set up a time to see it in person I’m located in Yakima no scammers no BS not really interested in trades but who knows.

I added to my post above. Knew a few people with those too. Did they all get smashed for clunkers?

I've seen several for sale within the past couple of years (Mark VII Lincolns, that is). I'd really like to have one, someday. I'm a fan of the Fox body cars, in general. Easy platform to play with. I know there are several folks on this forum that would agree.

The rust may have gotten them here.
