After plenty of researching and more patience than I thought I had, I finally snagged what seems to be a rock solid TJ, first Jeep ever and I’m pumped.

2006 sport 6speed. 57k miles, southern car. Unmodified. I can’t find even a speck of surface rust no matter how hard I look. Has a front tow bar by Blue Ox, so maybe was towed behind an RV in its past life (if anyone wants that tow bar I’ll be selling it, I’m in Northern Florida, let me know, I have no use for it). The AC is not fantastic so that needs a servicing, but that’s the only thing I can find wrong with it.

Just showing off the rig. Color is light Khaki Metallic. My hope is to go in a CJ inspired retro direction with it. Will definitely be doing some wheeling, but being in flat Florida, I likely won’t be turning it into a behemoth capable of scaling mountains. Further down towards “beach cruiser” on the modification spectrum

Anybody have a Light Khaki Metallic rig that they’re proud of? Would love to see pics!

Love it. The yellow spotlights look great

they’re clear lights with the yellow laminx film. also did clear on the toyota halogen headlights to protect them. nice jeep you’ve got there and welcome to the forum. tons of knowledge to be found here.

Very nice. That's a $15-$18 K Jeep out here.

So I didn’t do too bad on the deal I got LOL. I’m sure I overpaid a bit (car was at a dealer, and I was really looking for the right one, so jumped on it). That’s alright, they aren’t making any more TJ’s and not very many super clean rigs come up 10 miles from your house!

A dealer would sell that well over $20K

Then I did excellent hahaha. I (maybe foolishly) wasn’t really seeking the best financial deal or trying to save a couple grand here and there, I went in to find the cleanest one I could. Or at least that’s what I’m telling my wallet

Thanks. That one had a Zone 4.25" combo lift with 1" spacers up front. Wheels were American Racing 15x8" with 35x12.50" BFG KM2 tires

Actually a taller setup than the ones I’ve been looking at, but love how that sits. I’ll be looking into that for sure. Those wheels are going on my list to santa tho, those are sweet

Tons of info already. Thanks for the welcome!

That’s a beaut. How’s that wrangler decal holding up? Thinking of having some customs made to emulate the CJ renegade look. Colored striping, block lettering etc. Unless that wrangler decal came from factory… I don’t think so but I am new to the game

Surprisingly it's held up pretty good. I doubt it came from the factory though. Was on there when I bought it.
