I finished up my tailgate table and lights. The lights are on a delay relay, so they’ll keep working for 30 minutes after the ignition is turned off.
Yesterday I finished fixing the sunburnt cowl and putting it back on. Strip, prime, paint, clear, sand, polish. I've done the driver flare and rocker cover and now the cowl. Not sure what to do about the hood, too big for a rattlecan fix.

Thanks for the advice. Temps on the cool side aren't happening right now here for a while, it can wait til later. Will probably give paint a try and if it really sucks just sand it and get it wrapped. Biggest problem is the hood is covered in crow's feet cracks so it's going to be some work to get it smooth.Take your time , shoot in a temp. on the cool side of the acceptable range , use plenty of paint in overlapping coats and you can successfully rattle can
that hood. Your cowl came out good enough for a Jeep , you can pull the hood and make it alot better than it is . Don't stress and have fun !
Was thinking about a wrap...
Maybe not on on the hood..

Well, you could join the @RINC club
It's pretty common on certain year Jeeps. My 99' XJ did that.
I installed my new ARB air compressor on the mount where an AC compressor would go. Bolted right in. I used blue locktite so hopefully it won’t shake loose.
Anyone else seen one mounted like this before?

I got bored today so I disassembled my spare cylinder head and cleaned it up. Everything seems pretty clean and straight. Just need to get some new valve stem seals and then lap the valves then I’ll put it back together.

I'm pretty sure the next thing that I need to do to my Jeep is a Thermocure flush.
BTW, this is a new to me Jeep that has been in my possession for only a week.

Are you going to stroke that one (pardon the expression)?I got bored today so I disassembled my spare cylinder head and cleaned it up. Everything seems pretty clean and straight. Just need to get some new valve stem seals and then lap the valves then I’ll put it back together.
