The frame is never the way to go. As the jeep bounces it shock loads the straps. Axle straps are fine and weld-on tabs from Macs make it easy. Let the suspension work like it was designed to.
Wheel nets are fast on tow trucks but I haven't wanted to reconfigure my trailer to use them.

Pay attention to parking lots as you pass them. Many different ways to tie down autos.

Where did you see those? Would love to get custom wheel net from Mack's but they want $220 each..... Who else would have nets big enough for 37's?

I talked with Mac's about the nets and they told me they had to be very specifically sized to my wheels and that leads to potential problems if things change.

I've been using through the wheel straps for several years and never had one loosen up yet, they are attached to D rings on the trailer. I have tried the basket type also, while they worked well I still prefer through the wheel type. I have protective sleeves made from fire hose that protect them from chaffing on the wheel.
