Had a new engine installed and besides the obvious, some “other” things look different. Most I’m okay with. But I’m noticing new smells in the cab AND I see this seal torn. Are they related? Either way, I’d like to replace it. Maybe I should be buying a generic seal and cutting/installing? Help?

Considering my cowl intake wasn’t screwed back in either, doesn’t surprise me.

So not related to the smells I’ve got in the cab. Either way I’ll search for a replacement.

Thanks!!

Take a small piece to your local home improvement store and buy a roll of weatherstripping of the same dimensions. The secret to success is cleaning the surface where it attaches really well.

That is the cowl drain, engine smell could be getting up into the heating/ AC air intake. Weatherstrip tape or strip caulk would fix that issue.
