You have to give credit where credit is due- This company took something that has become a liability to fast food chains and made it a reason to come here.

If you pull up to McDonald’s in cars were circle around the building you would not even consider signing up for that- But we will pull into a Chick-fil-A with 50 cars lined up and be excited knowing that we’re going to get food in about seven minutes.

They run a clean business, They hire the nicest young people that you will see anywhere, The food is good and importantly it is very consistent.

I am truly a believer that most businesses succeed by their own merit- They thrive because they deserve to- And they deserve to because they serve the customer well.

Hats off to Chik Fil A.

Now ditch the Eat Mor Chiken campaign- It was funny for about five years- Actually it was only funny the first time you saw it. 😆

Not a fan, but your are correct. Its no different here in Sarasota. I went there a few weeks ago, and said your exact words to my wife

I am pretty much burned out on every fast food imaginable-

When we were young it was a treat because you couldn’t find one on every street corner and you had to go to the mall-Now those are getting hard to find.

I’m not the biggest chik fil a fan, but it is good. The service, as you said, is extremely good which is nice. In terms of fast food, I love cookout. I’m not sure how far it has spread though, I feel like it’s a mainly southeast thing… I like their food the best, the line is relatively quick, but they’ve got the worst speaker thingys imaginable, I can’t believe they haven’t done something about that. You can understand only like half the words the worker is saying

Now you’ve done it- I’m headed in to see one of my workers in the hospital who is having some health issues-

Then I’ve got to run over there and get a banana nut milkshake.

And I’ll feel like I’m talking to Charlie Brown’s mother.

“Womp womp wapp wunh “

I forgot to mention the milkshakes - so good, so many choices. Banana pudding is my favorite

I'm not a big fan of the food. It's not bad, but not great either My problem is we only eat fast food traveling home from visiting relatives on a weekend. So they are closed.

You are spot on with the service it is always on point. The food is ok not something I crave but a better choice than McDonald's etx

We like them a lot and yes they hire the best young people-including my grandson! They run two drive-thru lanes here with people outside under canopies taking orders.
Can't complain about In-N-Out Burger either but not quite as fast as the Chick-fil-A

I can. First time I ate there I thought maybe it was just that location that had freezer burnt fries. But the wife told me they were the same at a different location she went to with coworkers. Dunno what’s up with that place and potatoes.

I'm not all that much on fast food chicken, but Chik-fil-a does it well. Its too bad they have now pissed off BOTH sides in the culture wars - exhibit A1 as to why businesses need to concentrate on their product or service and stop all the "Virtue Signalling".
I've said it before: I don't get what the BFD is about In-N-Out. Its racetrack or county fair food. Its not bad, but its not good either. A Whopper or a Big Mac both have far more taste. *shrug*

I didn’t realize until reading this I don’t remember anything about the burger. Oh yeah, the bun was greasy. Other than that it wasn’t anything to remember.

As far as fast food goes, CFA is up there in the top part of the list. My biggest complaint is portion sizes. It's the only place I can go and buy a combo meal and come away not completely satiated. I'm not a big guy either, 6'0" and 175lbs and my appetite isn't what it used to be, for sure. But I have to upsize the fries, which I never do anywhere else.

Spicy deluxe, large waffle fries and a sweet tea.

I haven't had to order through a speaker there in a long time. All our locations here have an army of teenagers with tablets that take your order as you crawl through the line. It goes so fast because you hardly even have to come to a complete stop.

Also not impressed with In n out. They opened one in Colorado springs a year before I moved away and I never went once because it was never gonna be worth the line. I don't get why they're so popular, other than the weird cultural obsession with stuff from California. For fast food burgers I'll go to a Hardee's/Carl's Jr or a Sonic first. I'd probably put In n Out over McDs and BK.

Whataburger > In n Out

Who goes to a fast food restaurant for great food? Fast food is fast, sometimes convenient but never great.

I can. First time I ate there I thought maybe it was just that location that had freezer burnt fries. But the wife told me they were the same at a different location she went to with coworkers. Dunno what’s up with that place and potatoes.
taste is subjective but you are imagining things because their fries are cut straight from the raw potato

I think it's more to do with fresh>frozen. Whatever you may feel about In-N-Out, they only use fresh ingredients unlike the frozen garbage from most other chains.

Imagining things, huh?
The wife was imagining the same thing.
Twice.

Just because it starts as a raw potato doesn’t mean it can’t be fawked somewhere in the process between that raw potato and my plate.

You just have a different understanding of the phrase "freezer burnt fries" than I do.
