Another OPDA fail!

2003 TJR w/190K on it. Just bought an LJR w/80K on it & noticed OPDA rattle After engine check light came on. Here’s a pic of my cam gear. New Crown OPDA going in.
Is this serviceable or should I replace the cam?

I don't think the picture is clear enough to say for sure. That said, I'd probably run the new OPDA for a few hundred miles, then pull it and inspect both the cam gear and the OPDA gear. If the wear pattern looks good, run it without another thought. But, if it's worse than the pic shows, then it might well be time for a new cam.
