What did you do to your TJ today?

Finally made the decision to be a little more modern with a updated radio nav. system.. Crutchfield… really like the whole thing from this company

I remember looking through Crutchfield catalogues in high school in the 90s. I'm glad to see that they have adapted to the modern Internet age and are still the go to for anything car audio related. Their conversion kits and adapters for each car are amazing.

This is one of those things where at the end of the day, the functionality hasn't really changed much if at all. It is just a little thing that appeals to some of our sensibilities as to how something should look or can be made to be more aesthetically pleasing.

I never thought about it until I installed the first spacer and saw how they fit compared to the crap I had. Thanks again.

Crutchfield is one of the best companies that I've purchased things from. They are easy to work with, ship fast, great service and they keep all the manuals to everything I've purchased in PDF form under my orders.

I used to work there years ago. Bill, the owner was a great guy that promoted customer service above all else. You could install anything and if you didn't like it for ANY reason, you could bring it back within 30 days. Didn't like the look or sound, wires cut by you, scratched up, whatever. He even honored the manufacturer's warranty on products and not just theirs. He replaced my stereo that quit working after 2.5 years free (no paper receipt). That was a thing in the "olden days". Good people.

I‘ve been thinking the same thing… I like the look of the of the Raceline Rock Crusher wheels but their 10” wide… I need tires and now would be the time to make the change… either keep the 10” wheels and go with a 33x12.50-15 or get some 8” wheels and go with a 10.5” tire… I like the look of the 12.5” tire but the combination of the 10” wheel and the 12.5” tire are a handful….

I ran 33x12.50R15 on my 15x8 rims.

I ordered some theater speakers several years ago from them and once installed in our house they dwarfed our fireplace and mantle. Just didn't look good in the room. I contacted them they sent me the next smaller size and a return label for the big ones.

I have since moved and rebought those bigger speakers from them as I had the room for it.

Ditto that, I supported mine with a strap on the other end - but I'm liking that Blue Sea holder. Overpriced like everything else they make, but good stuff!

OK, after some more research, I agree with y'all. However, the winch on my Jeep (Warn 8,000 lb) has Max Amp Draw/ Line Pull of 435 Amp Draw/ 8000 Pound Load. All of the holders recommended are rated at 300A, max.
Here's one that I think will work:
https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Sea-Systems-Block-Insulating/dp/B001VIVWAW/ref=sr_1_9?crid=2X19AG8HHF00G&keywords=Blue+Sea+Systems+Fuse+Blocks&qid=1702574004&s=sporting-goods&sprefix=blue+sea+systems+fuse+blocks+,sporting,98&sr=1-9
It's rated at 750 A @ 32 V and I like that it has separate terminals for the cables and the fuse.
I'll post some pictures when I get it installed.
Thanks for the feedback from you all, and thanks to MountaineerTom for his advice!
That holder won't work with the fuse you have. You have a Mega or AMG fuse in place now, but that holder is for an ANL fuse. They have different center distances (drawings are from Blue Sea Systems web site):

To use that one, you'll need to buy a 500A ANL fuse. This is a good read on the differences between the two fuse types:

Thanks again for your comments! I also discovered these interesting facts when on their web site and promptly ordered a 500A ANL fuse!

The Mighty TJ got new tires. I went from 33x12.50R15 MT to 33x10.50R15 AT. I decided to live on the wild side, defy convention, and put the white side walls out on the new tires. I'm sure I shall be counseled by the tire "experts" for my heresy. Oh well, I have thick skin ...

That's OK, so did I!
