My TJ plus studded winter tires is a good combination for what on the ground today. Pulled three car back onto the road this morning.
Winter driving for my job was originally why I bought my first Jeep. I didn't want to get stuck at 2am, 30 miles from home. It came in handy years ago when we got 3' of snow. I miss deep snow. We got a crap 3" of snow the other day and 1" last night.
All my years of OTR driving, I ain't never been caught in one of these.
We got more than expected, 5 inches Tuesday and still snowing today at the moment and 4-5 out there fresh. Pier was bare wood last night and i made a path out there today at 9ish. Glad to get some just hate the salt crap on the roads.

I started using studded winter tires on my TJ last winter. No more sliding around on icy pavement.
Wow, you got more today? We had a couple of flurries, that's it.

Locally, I've already seen 3 wrecked Jeeps on Facebook.
And we didn't even get that bad of weather.
People were just parking their cars or trucks and just walking away I guess. In total there were 5 tractor trailers and probably 15 cars.

My Jeep tail lights while I was talking pictures
Looks like a lot of ice on the road, not real easy to drive on ice and maybe not many used to snow that far south. Be safe
