I’m going to be doing a jk axle swap on my LJ so i’m selling the dana 44 rear axle on my jeep. It’s in good working condition. All stock except a JKS rear track bar bracket and unknown adjustable track bar that is included. It’s got 3.73 gears, the factory LSD, and disc brakes. It’s got 175k miles but no issues. Looking to get $850 bucks for it but open to offers. I haven’t removed it from the jeep yet. Message me if you want pictures. It has absolutely no rust or rot on it. This jeep has been in NC it’s whole life. It does have a little mud on it.

Not to hijack thread but I have a stock rear 44 from my LJ coming out in next few weeks.

Buy this one if available, if not you can get mine.

Just FYI I wasn't #1 either. Gotta be fast for these!

Are you looking for a 44 with disc brakes or it doesn't matter? I think Irun has a 44 w/ drums. I wouldn't mind drums but would rather do disc. My drum brakes are kind of a pain to deal with.

I'm wanting discs, yeah. I'd actually maybe even deal with drums if I had drums to swap over, but I currently have a Ford 8.8 so nothing to swap (his doesn't have brakes I believe).

You can swap over drums from an old Dana 35. You can find those for free a lot of the time.

For some reason it's very hard to find a 35 in our area. I bought a 44 that came without the drums and associated hardware. I was able to purchase almost everything, but can't seem to get the equalizer bar and whatever else is needed. The thought was to just buy a 35 and pull parts off it, but people want $500 plus for them, which is just plain silly! :(

Good god, I just gave one away last week that's been sitting in my garage for a year.
