Falken recently released their new AT4W tire line. I was surprised to see a 255/85r16 in a load range C rather than the normal load range E. Here are the specs on the AT4W and a couple pictures

Other available 255/85r16:
Toyo mt
Bfg km3
Cooper st max
Falken wildpeak mt
Interco trxus
Yokohama Geolandar mt

We ordered a set of those from Tire rack in the 255/85r16 for our LJ . They were out of stock , but we should get them in the first week of February . Changing my gears to 4.88 and installing Eaton Trutrac front and rear . We've been running 235/85r16 Cooper at3's for years . Getting away from the Coopers due to balancing issues with the last two sets , decided to give the at4w's a try .

I recently installed the 33x12.5x15 load c AT3's on out TJ, and love them. I plan on the 35x11.5x17 load c AT4's on the Gladiator this year.

Waiting to hear how quiet they are and what air pressure you use. I have the BFG 255’s and they get a little noisy and are pretty firm riding even at 26 lbs.

Wheel Vintiques 66 Series , Chevy Rally wheels
They are 16x6 and I believe the backspacing is 4 inches . I can turn the wheels lock to lock without rubbing .
They came grey and I had them powder coated red to match the Jeep . I've had them on the Jeep for a little over 10 years now . This is the third set of Baby Moons , the Arkansas rocks are rough on them . Hopefully I'll remember to put my dented up ones on the next time we are trail riding . The one on the spare I drilled a hole in the center and installed the third brake light .

Running 60 mph the tires are very quiet and balanced pretty good . I'm still breaking in the new gears , so I've only hit about 65 mph . The tires took a little more weight to balance than I would have liked , but not too bad for such a large tire . Trying it out at 25 psi currently and will probably play with the psi some . At 25 psi it does handle well and ride good .
