Hoping for some help with brake issue. I have recently installed a full brake kit from Blackmagic (calipers, pads, drums shoes), installation went well and then I did a full bleed on the system, looks like no air bubbles left anywhere and the fluid is completely full in the master. I used a motive power bleeder (if that makes a difference).

When testing out the brake pedal, it is semi firm when the key is in the accessory position but still goes all the way to the floor.
When running, the pedal goes straight to the floor with almost no resistance.

Things to note:
1. When depressing pedal fast, there is a loud hissing sound coming from brake pedal
2. Perhaps more important, when fixing another part, I slightly bent the secondary brake tube (hard line from proportioning valve). Doesn't look compromised but I'm not sure if somehow there is and air leak

Does anyone have any ideas of what else I could do to test out certain components (master cylinder, brake tube etc) before just throwing money at new parts
Thanks

Air in the system or a fluid leak. Recheck your work. Fluid leak should be obvious. Make sure calipers are installed with bleed screws on top. Not uncommon for some to install them upside down with bleeders at bottom which traps air. This is Mr. Blaines kit I take it, have you checked with him on the issue?

Love this forum. I thought I installed everything properly,🤦‍♂️. Bingo @Mac57, upside down calipers. All fixed now and I have brakes.
They still seem a bit softer than before the replacements. I bled about 12oz + of brake fluid through the lines.
Do I need to continue to do more or do you reckon I should break in the brakes and then maybe try another bleed after?

The other thing that is concerning me is the hissing I am getting from depressing the pedal. Link is a video of the sound (pretty loud). Any ideas if that is a leaking booster?

Thank you , you saved me a bunch of time, money and headache

Glad you found the caliper issue, something is still not right. I'd suggest you get in touch with @mrblaine for further assistance with his Black Magic kit.

Do the break in and report back. You can't judge pedal firmness sitting still or on unbroken in and bedded parts.
