Hi all, so I recently put a new motor in my 02 TJ and had to remove the passenger upper control arm(stock arms) to get the mid pipe out, but now the holes won’t line up to get the arm back in. I’ve heard of using a ratchet strap but where would you place it? Any ideas?

There is no rule how to place the ratchet strap. Whatever gets you the movement you need is the correct answer.

Once you get it closer (using the above methods)), you can use a large center punch or Philips screwdriver (not flat; bolt will wedge up on the flat, but will push out the Philips)) to align the holes together to get the bolt started

I could get it started, just couldn’t get it through the other side, but thanks
